Your Houston VASER Liposuction Procedure
If you and Dr. Schusterman decide that VASER Liposuction is right for you, you will be scheduled for your procedure. On your procedure day, you will need to have someone drive you to and from your procedure, as you will be unable to drive following surgery due to the sedatives used during the procedure.
Once you are prepped for VASER Liposuction, Dr. Schusterman will make a small incision in the treatment area. The area will be filled with a medicated solution, as well as the ultrasonic VASER Liposuction probe. The probe uses ultrasound energy to vibrate the fat loose into the solution, which is then removed from the body through a gentle suction process.
The tissues are undamaged during this procedure, resulting in smooth contours with faster recovery times. As an added bonus, the ultrasound energy tends to have a limited tightening effect on the skin, further enhancing the definition of the muscles beneath.
