During your treatment, Dr. Schusterman will cleanse your face and apply a cool gel. You will also be given dark glasses to protect your eyes from the light. A light wand will then pulse light along the targeted areas.
As the light moves along the area, light pulses are absorbed into the skin. The Photofacial light soaks up the red blood cells (hemoglobin) and pigmentation (melanin) in the skin.
